Benefits of Using Tablets in a School Environment
The electronics in this world have advance to extreme measures
everywhere in the United States. Electronics have taken over the world; to the
point kids have now had the advantage of being able to use an electronic tablet
in a school environment. The idea of that was brilliant when it was presented
so school boards said why we don’t try it, so they did. The points they came across
were the tablets fit the student life style, computer lab easier to mobilize, and
going paperless. Tablets may have changed the student’s life and the ability to
learn easier than having a textbook in front of them.
The tablets being able to fit the students life style
more has become a great point about this situation. Kids these days find it easier
than using a computer or having a text book in front of their face. The students
now have an advantage of not having to carry a backpack full of books, but
instead a light tablet. Electronics have become such an everyday use, in a
school area students are using the tablets for math, reading, and science.
Having those being able to benefit students and making it easier on the teacher
makes the learning atmosphere easier. The
tablets have software that is able to be download that is only for education
purposes. No books being carried any weight on the kids. Tablets have defiantly
made a huge but progressing change for students.
Another reason tablets have benefitted
students in a school environment is, having better access to the tablet than
having a mobile computer lab. Having an ipad makes it much lighter,
No more carts, and the cost is so
huge that the tablet wins anyway. The size and mobility factor also has pros
for the Ipad than a computer or textbook. An Ipad weights nothing which is what they
stress having something so light and being able to store so much information. A
computer does have lots of storage but it’s so heavy, same with a book a lot of
information but very heavy as well. A student is more willing to bring back an
Ipad then carry their homework back and forth from school to home, home to
school.
The
great advantages of the tablets are going paperless. Schools districts have
realized having tablets have saved so much money not having to have books,
papers printed out, or assignments turned in on paper. Saving money is great
for a school and having a tablet makes that happen. The teacher can put a test
or an assignment on the tablet for the students; they can’t look at anything
else but the test. The grading process is much easier for the teacher, having
the tablet it grades the test right then. Very many advantages which is great
for students in a school environment.
The real
argument is what is more educational for a student in school? Tablets have seen
to be a big hit to our society and world. People would rather read a book, do
homework, or look from things on a tablet then in a book. It’s more our nature
to go to easy route. We know how to use a tablet because tablets have taken
such a big part in everyone’s life. Over
all having our society use what they know best, having it be more mobile to
everyone, and paperless in the classroom the tablets have succeeded and more
and more schools will start to get them, the text books will be gone. Think
about it would you rather have something to carry that’s less than 5 pounds or
more?
